As an author of two raw food books myself, I found this to be a nice summary of many things on the topic of raw food nutrition. It also goes into some of the typical digestive problems found in beginning a raw diet: flatulence and bloating. Soaking, sprouting, and proper food combining all help with this.
The book delves into possible deficiencies on a raw diet, the value of including some steamed vegetables, fasting and juice dieting, and more. It concludes with about 55 pages of recipes.

I read this book over a year ago. I had some experience with raw food before. My girlfriend was diagnosed with colon cancer and she cured herself with raw food, herbs, supplements, and colonics. I never felt that I had to do a raw food diet because I have been healthy all my life. Reading this book gave me the impetus to give it a try. I did. I dropped from size 38 to 32 within six months without even trying to lose weight. Maybe more important than that I rid myself of my bad habit that I had tried many times in my life without any success: Eating bread, lots of it. I do not crave it any longer.
It gave me many tiny bits of information I needed to stay on track. After all this time, I have not gained anything back and getting stronger. The knowledge I learned here will help me rest of my healthy life.
