Xclusive Meals Spiralizer Review & Giveaway

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Today ten lucky readers will have the chance to win a free vegetable spiralizer!

In the last few years, we’ve been traveling a lot so in order to reduce luggage weight I’ve given away most of my kitchen equipment. Previously I’ve owned two different vegetable spiralizers and they are fantastic tools to own if you are looking for interesting ways to prepare raw food meals.

So when I was given the opportunity to try the Xclusive Meals Vegetable Spiralizer I was intrigued. It has the advantage of being very compact and light, so it is something I could easily travel with. I was interested to see how it would compare with other spiralizers I’ve used in the past. I have to say it is a pretty nifty little gadget!

So far I’ve only tried it with zucchini, carrot, and cucumber but the results have been great. It has four different blades that allow you to choose from thin angel hair spaghetti right up to wide strips. What I found unique about this spiralizer compared to others is the blade that makes thick strips, similar to fettuccine. The strips on this setting turned out wide and flat. The larger counter-top spiralizer I used in the past made thick spaghetti-like strands but did not have a setting for a flat noodle shape.

It works with a similar idea as a pencil-sharpener. You insert the vegetable in one end and twist it away from you. For the best results you need to use straight and firm vegetables with an approximate diameter of 1.30 – 2 inches (30-50 mm). If they are bigger than this you can peel to make them thinner.

As you get to the end of the vegetable you place a cap against the end of the vegetable and continue twisting using the cap. You will end up with a small amount of vegetables that you can either cut up manually or save it to juice later. I’ve found this is normal for all of the spiralizers that I’ve used.

The Xclusive Meals Vegetable Spiralizer retails at $49.95 but is currently selling on Amazon for $11.97. Xclusive Meals have generously offered to give away ten of their spiralizers to Raw Food Solution readers. The bundle includes:

  • Vegetable Spiralizer
  • Ceramic blade peeler
  • Cleaning brush & storage pouch
  • A booklet containing 12 raw vegan recipes
  • 4 bonus recipe eBooks

    1. Ooooh, I am super-stoked to have won one of these nifty gadgets! Thank you so much for the opportunity and gift–I am already envisioning all the delicious, healthy, colorful culinary creations that I can make with it. So exciting! Very nice to imagine vibrant green zucchini noodles and cheerful orange sweet potato noodles on a drippy, dreary, grey day like the one we are having in Eugene, OR currently… Much appreciation for the shiny, happy rainbow you have bestowed upon my morning! 🙂

  7. Many Thanks! It has invoked many child-like imaginings of what awesome raw – semi raw dishs could be made With Spiralized carrots, zucchini and others!
